What animals are in the Mjejane Game Reserve?

Mjejane Game Reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big 5. In addition to the Big 5, you can also find giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and various species of antelope. The reserve is rich in birdlife as well, making it a haven for birdwatchers.

Are Parties allowed in the Mjejane Game Reserve lodges?

No. Making excessive noise of any kind (music, shouting etc.) will not be tolerated. Please respect all other residents / guests at MGR.

How big is the Mjejane Game Reserve?

The southern region of Kruger National Park is famous for its Big 5 game viewing, and within the 4,000 hectares of Mjejane Game Reserve, you'll encounter the majestic Big 5 along with a diverse array of other wildlife.

Can you access Kruger National Park from Mjejane?

No, you have to use the Malelane or Crocodile Bridge Gates to enter Kruger National Park.

How much is the conservation fee at the Mjejane?

Mjejane Game Reserve Road Levy for the lodges will be R350 per vehicle per 7 day stay and will need to be paid at the Mjejane Gate by card on arrival.
